Pixie eye view
This is what passes for a buttercup in South Texas. Not yellow but still very pretty. My own personal Pixie picked this flower 2 minutes after I photographed it - nothing is sacred to my little Pixie girl!

We do have many of the yellow "buttercups" around here. Here is their botanical name: http://altnature.com/gallery/Evening_Primrose.htm http://www.ct-botanical-society.org/galleries/oenotherabien.html They are also called Missouri Primrose. For the pink one you have go here: http://www.floridata.com/ref/O/oeno_spe.cfm You are lucky to have them.

I believe AR is envious. I've got a bunch, the are quickly turning into weeds. I'll see If I can't pot her up a bunch.
