One of the dreadful fast food "restaurants", which our children declare as the only true source of eatable food, is currently giving away Wizard of Oz characters with its' greasy offerings. Eddy is the proud recipient of a Tin Man doll whilst Little Ted has a Ninja Turtle - I don't recall Ninja Turtles being in The Wizard of Oz. Anyway it seems that the Tin Man made a greater impression on Little Ted than the Ninja Turtle; or maybe he just couldn't find a turtle shell to wear.
Speaking of turtles, I came home the other day to find a red eared slider walking up the driveway. He didn't like me and pretty soon turned around and left to re-acquaint himself with the drainage ditch beyond the next street.
