Last night we went to another T-ball practice session and, as if it needed to be confirmed, Ted realized that all the kids were confused and unable to act upon simple instructions such as "run to first base"The coach might as well have been shouting instructions to decline Latin verbs given the success of his efforts. (no offense intended)
It's just that 5 year olds, especially in a group, are just not capable of precise interpretation of instructions. They were all having great fun, as were the parents, but as for playing T-ball by the rules - well, no!

Indeed they are entertaining! And the rules-understanding will come, but then they won't be near as cute!!! I thoroughly enjoyed the first-hand experience this week of watching the little guys run hither, thither, and yon!
