Without going into the politics of this I was curious as to why all the comments on the Caller Times web site kept on about the lights Downtown being "strange"
I couldn't see the problem until right now - I've just figured out that they have "British" lights Downtown! Lights on poles at the side of the street rather than strung above the traffic lanes.
That explains why I have no problem but "natives" perceive there to be one.
