My uncle passed away Monday 17th November 2008 in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Although I have the excuse of living 5000 miles away now I did live within 25 miles of him for 20 years without ever making an effort to contact him.
The loss is mine and not redeemable - shame on me.
On the positive side this did prompt me to phone his younger brother in Canada and we had a good visit. 62 years in Canada and he and his wife still have broad Scottish accents.
