30 Years of Goldens and other friends

Ted and little Ted have been turning their attention to the possibility of acquiring a doggie companion. Mrs Ted says Ted must get a job first but you never can tell what Ted and little Ted will get up to while Mrs Ted is at work!
Anyhoo, here are pictures of the dogs Ted has been owned by since he was 21;
In reverse order we have:

Jenna, a young picture circa 1998, she is currently living a life of old age luxury chez Duke being waited on paw and paw by Karen as we deemed her too old to survive the move to Texas.









Mhairi the rescued Welsh Springer, neurotic throughout her life with me from age 2 to 11 - sadly missed.

















Penny and Blue.
Penny came before Mhairi and Blue joined us when we moved to Biggar in 1990.
Penny the retriever and Blue the Bearded Collie / Old English Sheepdog cross became office dogs at Loaningdale and were loved by staff and customers alike. Penny made it to 11 and Blue carried on to an estimated 16 years.

Bramble, who hailed from Perth, Scotland started it all. She was my first retriever and I haven't been without one since, until now that is but see first paragraph. Mrs Ted says retrievers caste too much hair but little Ted thinks Daddy's favorite dog is his too! "Maybe we need to have three dogs again" he says encouragingly to Ted.
